Our Company/Job Summary The Ghirardelli Sr. Sales Analyst is an integral multifaceted member of the Sales Strategy Team owning Key Analysis to support our Sales Strategy Team and in ensuring key sales tools are available for sales teams. This individual will be responsible for providing analysis of various business topics that will help lead to key decisions for the brand. They also will be responsible for key sales documents, such as our price list and image databases that the sales teams rely on to assist them with their customers. This role requires strong analytical skills, a high level of accuracy and organization as well as the ability to quickly shift gears as priorities change while meeting company and customer deadlines.

Scope of Responsibilities Sales Analytics for Sales Strategy Team

Create Analytical Dashboards and Reporting for Sales Strategy

Collaborate with the Sales Strategy, Sales Support, and Customer Activation to understand the needs and create an analytic roadmap for future.

Determine viability of bringing together the sales team reports into one uniform dashboard for us.

Investigate Power BI and what dashboards could be created for us within Sales Strategy.

Partner with our Category Management Team to have the right reporting in Circana to answer key Sales Strategy Questions which includes Perfect Store reporting.

Assess trends, analyze data for Key Business Projects

Build out New Item forecasts for our business.

Provide analytical support for demand consensus meetings.

Partner on key initiatives for the Sales Strategy Managers to analyze data to make informed decisions on the Business.

Create analysis plan for CP events and how to garner feedback from Sales Teams. Additionally, this role will maintain the management of CP across the Sales Strategy Managers.

Lead Key Sales Deliverables

Own the development and be fully responsible for the publication of multiple pricelists for company-wide and customer facing publication.

Responsible for Customer Image Database for Sales Teams which include national and Customer Exclusive standpoint. Maintain our current process but look for ways to be more efficient and effective.

Facilitate electronic transfer of standardized product and location information between Ghirardelli and trading partners and the continuous synchronization of that data.

Approve UPCs artwork for all proofs and final artwork, alert Creative when corrections are required before final print.

Provide nutritional and kosher certificate information as requested by customers.

In-office backup for Sales Sample Requests and processing.

The Subject Matter Expert in Salsify, DataSync, and the GS1 Standards for Sales Strategy.

Specific Knowledge & Skills

College degree - Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.

5-7 years experience in a professional executive office environment.

Other Job Requirements

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.

Knowledge of how to gather data from Circana, Nielsen, and other key data suppliers.

Experience with 1WorldSync or similar Source Datapool system required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft office-based programs including Outlook, TEAMS, PowerPoint.

Experience with Salsify or similar PIM system preferred.

Thrives on proofreading skills including ability to identify errors or formatting inconsistencies in data.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize.

Salary: $94,000 – $122,000 per year
