Sales representatives are out on the road every day, meeting with valued customers, visiting job sites and building relationships with key stakeholders to ensure continued success. Our sales team consists of team players who are self‑starters with strong problem‑solving skills, mechanical aptitude and a drive to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Learn all about Victaulic’s products and the many ways we can provide solutions for customers.

Understand construction cycles, major construction projects, and market trends.

Develop a business plan with your Regional Sales Manager, including opportunity mapping, sales goals, and promotion plans.

Execute all phases of project pursuit and project management to secure purchase orders from inception to after‑sale follow‑up.

Build and maintain strong relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and project owners; schedule visits as needed, including evenings or weekends.

Partner with regional distributors and coordinate activities with other Victaulic representatives and market specialists.

Educate customers on project value, product advantages, and installation techniques via demos, lunch‑and‑learn presentations, and site visits.

Travel as required; manage adverse weather conditions and heavy equipment handling.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferred); vocational or technical training acceptable with relevant sales experience.

Previous sales experience selling value‑added products, preferably in commercial construction, pipelines, valves, fittings, or mechanical products.

Proven sales achievements and a history of developing long‑standing relationships.

Strong problem‑solving, resourcefulness, and creative thinking.

Excellent organization, time‑management, and project‑management skills.

Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.

Willingness to travel extensively; ability to handle heavy equipment (up to 50+ pounds).

Salary & Benefits Salary range: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 annually, with variable compensation. Top end of the range can be exceeded based on qualifications and experience.
