Sales Manager - Northern California H&A Recruiter Our client, a growing equipment organization, is seeking a

Sales Manager

to lead business development efforts, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across the

Northern California

region.

This role is ideal for a proactive, relationship-oriented sales professional who enjoys building pipelines, engaging with decision-makers, and managing sales processes from lead generation through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct outbound sales outreach (phone, email, online) to generate new leads and build a strong sales pipeline.

Respond to incoming customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate information.

Visit customer sites to assess project needs and prepare competitive bids.

Identify key decision-makers and present tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.

Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales documents; manage all related order paperwork.

Research market conditions, industry trends, regulatory changes, and new business opportunities.

Maintain accurate sales records, customer files, and CRM updates.

Monitor customer satisfaction, address concerns, and implement improvement strategies.

Collaborate with operations leadership to refine sales tactics and improve overall performance.

Support marketing initiatives and represent the company at customer meetings or events.

Provide weekly sales activity updates and pipeline reports.

Proven experience in

sales, business development, or customer relations , ideally within construction, equipment, or industrial services.

Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prepare accurate quotes, and prioritize effectively.

Familiarity with site visits, bidding, and supporting field operations.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and CRM proficiency.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
