Project/Program Manager IT 3 / Scrum Master

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Organize and lead key Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Identify and help resolve blockers that hinder the teams ability to meet sprint goals.
Escalate issues appropriately when needed.
Teach, coach, and reinforce Scrum principles, roles, and artifacts.
Promote continuous improvement, self-organization, and team ownership.
Shield the team from distractions and scope creep to maintain focus.
Ensure work remains aligned with agreed-upon sprint goals.
Support backlog refinement and prioritization activities.
Ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and well-defined.
Facilitate effective communication within the team and across stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage dependencies across teams.
Monitor key team metrics, including velocity and burndown charts.
Drive process improvements through retrospectives and ongoing feedback loops.
Maintain visibility and accuracy of Scrum artifacts, including the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Program Increment.
Build and maintain Azure DevOps dashboards to enhance transparency and visibility.
Ensure teams adhere to Agile standards, practices, and organizational guidelines.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelors Degree preferred with 5+ years of Project Management experience and 3+ years experience as a Scrum Master. 8+ years of experience Project Management experience and 5 years experience as a Scrum Master with no degree.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Azure DevOps experience. Agile and scrum expertise. Experience using collaboration & workflow tools, preferably SharePoint. Ability to understand software development concepts. Experience with Miro. Knowledge of integration and API management for ERP systems is desired but not required.
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong facilitation abilities to guide discussions and meetings effectively. Demonstrated servant leadership approach focused on supporting and empowering the team. Proficient in resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative work environment. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations and make sound decisions.
