The Payments Risk team is seeking a Strategy & Operations Associate Manager to help reduce payment abuse costs and safeguard the integrity of our platform. You’ll understand Consumers, Dashers, and Merchants, analyze behaviors that may indicate risk, lead investigations into high-risk activity, design data-informed strategies, and implement cross-functional initiatives to mitigate losses while maintaining a trusted user experience. Establish and refine DoorDash's strategic approach to payments risk — collaborate with operations, engineering, and analytics to protect audiences from bad actors Analyze user behavior across the platform to identify bad actors and improve the experience for good users Influence across the company — partner with product, engineering, and analytics teams to set goals and build strategic programs Improve through experimentation — use data-driven decision-making to run tests that reduce risk while accelerating growth We\'re Excited About You Because…
4+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics or related fields Experience leading projects and working effectively in a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Problem solving and analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel Bachelor’s degree Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties We expect to fill this position by 2/7/2026. Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range in the United States: $98,600—$145,000 USD, dependent on location and market conditions. Eligible for equity grants.
