Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. – Project Engineer – Electrical
Location: Anchorage, AK (JBER) • Employment type: Full‑time • Seniority level: Mid‑Senior
Base pay range:
$120,000.00 – $135,000.00 a year
(salary based on experience, to be discussed with the manager in interview).
Responsibilities
Provide engineering services on multiple federal projects ranging in value from tens to hundreds of millions of dollars.
Lead site observation and reporting for assigned projects to government personnel.
Offer technical and administrative support, oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities.
Analyze design and construction issues against contract requirements and deliver recommendations to government personnel.
Review and interpret plans, submittals, reports, schedules, modifications, cost estimates, pay applications, and change orders.
Conduct field surveillance and produce detailed daily reports covering all pertinent cost and engineering considerations.
Participate in pre‑construction conferences with government personnel.
Apply knowledge of industrial/laboratory building electrical systems—including low voltage, high voltage, controls, building automation, data centres, and other complex elements—in large and complex buildings and utility plants.
Hands‑on experience with US Army Corps of Engineers projects is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
Minimum ten years of engineering, construction and contract administration experience.
Experience with federal clients and large "campus" type projects valued at $100 million or more.
Preferred familiarity with RMS 3.0 and US Army Corps of Engineers projects.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a federal background review and drug screen.
