Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry role in a long-term acute care setting, requiring an active GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of nursing experience.
Responsibilities Work in a long-term acute care facility on the telemetry nursing floor Patient care is provided in a long-term care environment with telemetry monitoring 12-hour night shifts are required No on-call responsibilities Strict rules apply for requested time off, with a maximum of five days if not around a holiday or three days if on/near a holiday Only one holiday request for time off allowed during the assignment Several consecutive days off overlapping major holidays will not be approved Returning travelers must meet separation requirements as outlined First-time travelers may be considered if all requirements are met
Requirements Active GA or compact RN license in hand Minimum of 18 months RN experience Recent telemetry or similar acute care experience required Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Former staff must be separated for one year prior to returning, or eighteen months if returning to the same facility
