Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and cardiovascular ICU experience.
Responsibilities
Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital
Night shift, 12-hour shifts
13-week assignment
Cares for adult cardiovascular ICU patients with a variety of cardiac and vascular conditions
No local candidates; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Previous permanent staff must have a 1-year separation from the health system or 18 months if returning to the same facility
Maximum of 5 days of requested time off if not near a holiday; maximum of 3 days if on or near a holiday
Only one holiday time-off request permitted per assignment
Requests for several days of time off during holidays will not be approved
Requirements
Active GA or compact RN license in hand
Minimum 18 months of CVICU nursing experience required
Strong experience with cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular cases
