Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Senior CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, and expertise in G‑Code to produce high-quality machined components.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis machining processes
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes according to established safety standards
Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation to determine machining requirements
Select appropriate tools and materials for machining operations
Conduct quality control checks to ensure precision and adherence to specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues as they arise
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to streamline manufacturing processes
Document and maintain records of machining processes and setups
Qualifications
BS/MS in Engineering preferred
10+ years of CNC programming and machining experience
Mastery of Mastercam, GD&T, probing, Fanuc controllers, and macro programming
High school diploma or equivalent
Eligible for employment under ITAR compliance
Ability to pass drug screen and background check
