The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Liaison Engineering Organization is seeking
Entry and Associate Level
Liaison Engineers to support operations in Everett, Seattle, Renton, Auburn, Puyallup, Washington as well as Portland, Oregon. We are looking for a proactive individual who can make prompt engineering decisions and who wants to go beyond their desk and into the factory for hands‑on engineering. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills as the candidate will partner closely with production personnel and will act as the engineering representative on the factory floor transforming design into reality.
Position Responsibilities
Analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for production non‑conformances.
Apply knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
Use engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues in support of executing final engineering solutions.
Identify documents, analyze reported problems and communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommend and manage resolution.
Develop and implement product/process improvements.
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participate in design reviews.
Represent the engineering community from initial build through the production and post‑production environment.
Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
Participate in on‑site disabled product repair teams, accident investigation and support teams.
Analyze damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking and shoring, prevent collateral damage and assure a safe work environment.
Design interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
Develop non‑destructive test procedures, tools and standards.
This position is fully onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed locations and will be exposed daily to factory hazards. The role participates in the approximately 9‑month Boeing Company Training Rotation Program, which may involve first, second, or third‑shift assignments, weekend or daily overtime, and travel between Puget Sound sites.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or related field.
1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Entry Level).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired)
3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Associate Level).
Hands‑on experience with materials and manufacturing processes.
Experience with MRB (Material Review Board) activities.
Experience in airplane design, liaison engineering, and/or manufacturing engineering.

Shift Information
The position may require multiple shifts, including off‑shift, weekend, and travel assignments.

Pay and Benefits Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities are offered, with benefits including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Pay is based on candidate experience and qualifications.
Entry Level (Level 1): $68,000 – $92,000
Associate Level (Level 2): $79,050 – $106,950
