Job Title: ServiceNow Staff Engineer II

Location: Block 23

What you'll do: As a Staff Engineer II you'll lead strategic planning for technical solutions, design reliable engineering practices, and maintain technical documentation. Your focus will be on IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

ITSM:

Develop and maintain applications to enhance service delivery.

ITAM:

Track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle.

ITOM:

Monitor and manage the health and performance of IT services and infrastructure.

Lead the strategic planning of a project as it relates to technical solution design.

Design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices and sound recovery procedures.

Design transaction specific application performance monitoring metrics that can be captured and passed to business partners.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures while also ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards. Develop desktop procedures when needed that others follow.

Additional responsibilities:

As a ServiceNow developer, focus on ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and CMDB application development, configuration, and optimization as described in the detailed sections below.

IT Service Management (ITSM):

Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow ITSM applications to streamline and optimize service delivery processes, enhancing user experience and ensuring seamless integration with other IT tools.

IT Asset Management (ITAM):

Manage ServiceNow ITAM applications to track and manage IT assets, implementing solutions for inventory management and compliance with organizational policies.

IT Operations Management (ITOM):

Leverage ServiceNow ITOM applications to monitor and manage the health and performance of IT services and infrastructure, automating routine tasks and orchestrating workflows.

Configuration Management Database (CMDB):

Maintain and optimize the ServiceNow CMDB, managing relationships between configuration items and ensuring data integrity for decision‑making and incident resolution.

What you'll need:

7+ years of related experience in IT App Support, IT Development, IT Networking, or similar field.

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Previous leadership experience preferred.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking preferred.

Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.

Advanced proven experience in leading cross‑functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously, including pipeline development and leveraging Azure DevOps.

Advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals, lead and motivate cross‑functional teams, resolve conflicts, address challenges, identify and mitigate risks, and govern intake, technical reviews, and architectural compliance.

Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.

May require up to 25% travel.
