Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Deployment Manager to oversee environment delivery, software deployments, and DevOps processes supporting large-scale Social Services Applications. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and hands‑on experience managing complex enterprise environments. You will coordinate across multiple IT teams, lead troubleshooting efforts, drive automation initiatives, and ensure high availability across development, test, training, and production environments.
This position operates with minimal supervision and requires strong judgment, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities Environment & Deployment Management
Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end deployment of application releases and system enhancements.
Manage the setup, configuration, and delivery of development, test, training, and production environments.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, operations, security, middleware, and database teams.
Drive automation, standardization, and environment optimization initiatives.
Oversee environment planning and resource forecasting.
Troubleshooting & Incident Leadership
Lead cross‑functional triage sessions to resolve complex technical issues involving numerous IT services.
Perform root cause analysis and document corrective actions.
Mentor team members and implement process improvements.
Provide on‑call support during business hours, nights, and weekends when required.
Agile & DevOps Leadership
Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and user story development.
Serve as Scrum Master for DevSecOps teams.
Manage impediment resolution and promote self‑organizing team culture.
Maintain DevOps roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
Required Skills & Experience Technical & Leadership Requirements
8 years analyzing and resolving complex technical issues.
8 years training and supporting users across all levels.
8 years hands‑on experience with CI/CD models.
Strong background in SDLC, PMLC, and enterprise software development.
Extensive experience coordinating with multi‑functional IT teams.
Hands‑on experience with APM/monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace (highly preferred).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience in large‑scale enterprise application environments.
Tools & Technologies
Agile tools: Jira, Rally, VersionOne (or equivalents).
Microsoft Project, Visio, Office Suite.
DevOps & automation processes.
CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, and deployment frameworks
