Recommend and document cabling, physical connectivity, and network readiness upgrades for VoIP success.

Support device configuration for IP phones, headsets, gateways, analog adapters, teleconference and paging systems.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all VoIP deployments meet DoD cybersecurity requirements and STIG compliance.

Implement controls to protect VoIP systems from unauthorized access, disclosure, and misuse.

Identify compliance risks and mitigate gaps with government stakeholders.

Support documentation for audit readiness, certifications, and system accreditation.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation

Serve as senior technical interface between engineering teams, government leadership, operations staff, and vendors.

Provide tracking, reporting, and updates across all configuration and deployment activities.

Deliver engineering documentation, including architecture diagrams, migration plans, cutover procedures, test plans, validation reports, risk and issue logs.

Train and mentor operational teams for ongoing system sustainment.
