The Estimator will prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, working closely with project teams to ensure competitive and precise pricing.

Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for commercial projects

Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate bids

Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing

Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates

Review and negotiate subcontractor bids

Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies

Profile

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating

Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Sage, Bluebeam, or similar)

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Strong communication and negotiation skills
