Our client, a global professional services firm, is seeking an experienced accounting professional who thrives on complex technical issues, enjoys exciting transactions, and wants to partner closely with business leaders across departments.
Base pay range $135,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Research and interpret complex accounting issues under U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition, leases (ASC 842), business combinations, consolidations, and financial instruments.
Lead technical accounting research and prepare clear, well-documented position papers and memos for executive leadership and auditors.
Monitor and implement new accounting standards, ensuring timely compliance and practical adoption strategies.
Support accounting for tax-related transactions, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
Partner with FP&A, tax, operations, and legal teams to ensure accounting treatments align with business objectives.
Oversee lease accounting processes and ensure ongoing compliance with lease standards.
Support the preparation of financial statements and disclosures, ensuring accuracy and consistency with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
Lead and support internal and external audit processes, providing detailed technical documentation as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting, policy consistency, and internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
10+ years of accounting experience
