Overview As an AVP, you will provide actuarial reinsurance pricing and dynamic portfolio optimization support for our clients and prospects.

How You'll Make an Impact Account Analysis & Support

Perform actuarial analysis to develop loss model for client business, estimate reinsurance pricing, and determine optimal reinsurance structures given client risk profile and underwriting strategy

Present analyses in clear terms appropriate to the audience

Provide value-added service to clients as needed

Market Research and Development

Assist in market and line of business studies to qualify Gallagher Re as a thought leader in reinsurance and primary marketplace

Work closely with other analytical associates across Gallagher Re, including other actuaries, catastrophe modelers, rating agency advisory, ERM and capital markets associates

Problem Solving

Able to apply advanced mathematical / actuarial concepts and techniques

Skilled in using Microsoft Excel and other software

Skilled in R and Python

Seeks appropriate data needed for analysis

Considers issues in depth, not just superficially

Finds effective, creative solutions

Applies high standard of quality control

Seeks assistance / support as appropriate

About You Required

Bachelor’s degree; 3 years related experience.

Desired

ACAS or FCAS

Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
