The role encompasses a wide range of activities, including reinsurance pricing analysis, interaction with our Broking teams, client interaction as well as research projects. This broad-based introduction to the reinsurance sector will position you for significant future growth opportunities within our firm. As a VP or SVP (dependent on experience), you will provide actuarial profitability studies, reinsurance pricing, dynamic portfolio optimization support, and primary pricing support for our clients and prospects. The market focus will be Programs / MGAs across all lines of business, including but not limited to Commercial (General Liability, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, BOP, Umbrella, Professional Liability) and Personal Lines (Property CAT and non-CAT, and Non-Standard Auto). #LI-BD1
Account Analysis & Support
Perform actuarial analysis to develop loss model for client business, estimate reinsurance pricing, and determine optimal reinsurance structures given client risk profile and underwriting strategy.
Perform primary pricing / rating analysis and build rating tools to support MGA client growth and profitability.
Help manage and lead actuarial team in Dallas, potentially manage a direct report depending on experience.
Present analyses in clear terms appropriate to the audience.
Provide value-added service to clients as needed.
Assist in market and line of business studies to qualify Gallagher Re as a thought leader in reinsurance and primary marketplace.
Work closely with other analytical associates across Gallagher Re, including other actuaries, catastrophe modelers, rating agency advisory, ERM, and capital markets associates.

About You
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience; 5‑10 years’ related experience.
ACAS or FCAS.
Prefer experience in primary insurance pricing and reinsurance pricing.
Prefer candidates local to Dallas / Fort Worth metro or willing to relocate.
Flexible hybrid work, typically 3‑4 days in office.
Moderate travel required, including some overnight travel.
Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and work outside normal business hours as required.
Ability to perform work on varied customer properties; entails negotiating non‑public access areas, climbing, lifting, sitting, standing and walking for extended periods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
