What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide legal advice and recommendations to executives and management on complex matters impacting business operations
Evaluate potential legal issues related to business practices and advise management accordingly
Assess the impact of new laws and regulations on business practices
Conduct detailed legal research and consult with outside counsel as needed
Leverage knowledge of SEC reporting and compliance to advise on complex financial matters
What is Required (Qualifications)
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited school of law
Minimum of seven years of legal experience in law firm and corporate settings
Excellent legal research and negotiation skills
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and coordinate projects and cases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in SEC reporting, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and/or complex litigation
