What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct legal research and analysis on existing and developing privacy laws and regulations
Maintain expertise in privacy laws and evaluate their impact on company operations
Assist in the development of Data Protection and Privacy Programs, including legal documents and policies
Provide advice and counsel on privacy matters to stakeholders and business partners
Draft, review, and negotiate IT contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
What is Required (Qualifications)
J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school and active Bar membership in the U.S.
Three (3) to five (5) years of legal experience in data privacy, technology contracting, and digital commerce/digital marketing
Strong knowledge of U.S. and international privacy laws and regulations
Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating IT‑related contracts
Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and data processing technologies
Proven ability to interpret complex legal texts and regulations
Strong interest in technology and its implications for privacy compliance
Experience advising on customer and vendor data privacy issues for international companies
High proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software quickly
