The Opportunity Our tax function is constantly evolving, offering opportunities for growth, new skills, mentors, training, and avenues to contribute technical expertise in compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property.
Your Key Responsibilities
Engage in client consultations and challenge unclaimed property and escheat approaches for optimal effectiveness.
Develop strong relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with internal resources.
Coach and develop junior team members.
Apply extensive knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements.
Work in a collaborative culture, listening to and sharing information with colleagues.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Provide timely and responsive services to enhance client satisfaction.
Stay informed of current technical developments and apply knowledge to client situations.
Analyze information thoroughly and accurately, prepare practical approaches, and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
Demonstrate understanding of complex unclaimed property concepts.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related work experience.
CPA certification, US Bar membership, or professional designation from the IPT.
Technical expertise in compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services.
Performance and process advisory experience in unclaimed property compliance.
Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.
Ideally, You Will Also Have
Minimum of 7 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment.

What We Offer You
A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with performance-based recognition. Base salary range: $135,000 – $308,500 in the US, with higher ranges in major metro areas.
