Indirect Tax – Unclaimed Property and Escheat Services – Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities Engage in client consultations, challenge unclaimed property and escheat approaches for optimal effectiveness, develop strong client relationships, and coach junior team members. Implement extensive knowledge of unclaimed property concepts in a highly collaborative culture.
Skills and Attributes
Provide timely, responsive services and work products to satisfy clients.
Stay informed of technical developments and apply knowledge to client situations.
Analyze information thoroughly and prepare quality, practical approaches to unclaimed property situations.
Demonstrate understanding of complex unclaimed property concepts.
Contribute to and achieve team goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related work experience.
CPA certification, US Bar membership, or relevant IPT designation.
Technical expertise in compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services.
Process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance.
Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges:
All US geographic locations: $135,000 to $308,500
New York City Metro, Washington State, California (excluding Sacramento): $162,100 to $350,500
Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
Hybrid work model: 40–60% in‑person for most client‑serving roles.
