I’m partnering with a fast-growing, customer-focused organization to hire an experienced
General Manager
to lead operations, distribution, and customer service for a 100+ employee facility. This is a strategic leadership role for someone who excels in high-volume environments and knows how to drive performance and develop strong teams. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily distribution and operations while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety Lead and develop department managers to exceed productivity and service goals Strengthen relationships with customers and key business partners Drive strategic planning, annual business plans, and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and all company policies Manage budgets, cost controls, and capital planning What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (MBA a plus) 5+ years of leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or operations Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and safety best practices Proficiency with JD Edwards, voice selection systems (Lucas), and Microsoft Office Experience in staffing, process management, inventory control, and facility operations Food & beverage or foodservice industry experience strongly preferred What’s Offered
