Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Neonatologist to join our expanding practice at a Level II facility in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Enjoy the picturesque views while providing high-quality care in a supportive environment dedicated to family-centered healthcare.
Job Responsibilities:- Oversee a 6-bed Level II special care nursery with 24-hour shifts, block scheduling, and a flexible out-of-house call schedule.
- Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to deliver comprehensive care in the newborn nursery.
- Access sub-specialty support as needed.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and clinical research projects.
- Exchange best practices and ideas with a vast network of Pediatrix providers across more than 400 NICUs.
- Welcoming to commuters, with a commitment to quality patient care.
- Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (Required)
- Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain) (Required)
- Confirmation if visa support is required (J1 or H1B) (Required)
- DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) (Required)
