Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations. Assist in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses. Perform medical procedures such as gastric lavage when necessary. Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper data management. Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their health conditions. Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes. Adhere to established medical standards and protocols within the practice. Work effectively in emergency room (ER) settings as needed. Utilize knowledge of medical coding for accurate documentation. Experience A Master?s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required. Previous experience in acute care settings is preferred, with familiarity in MDS (Minimum Data Set) assessments being a plus. Strong background in patient care with an emphasis on quality standards. Proficiency in data management systems related to healthcare practices. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
