Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various medical settings including acute care, emergency medicine, and outpatient services. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient management and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations. Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions. Utilizes EMR system, eClinicalWorks for accurate patient documentation and data management. Provide triage services in urgent care settings. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records. Requirements Flexible scheduling, alternating weekends. Current certification as a Physician Assistant with relevant state licensure. Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and documentation standards. Experience in various specialties such as pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, occupational health, or infectious disease care is preferred. Strong clinical skills including suturing, phlebotomy, catheterization, and basic life support. Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and teamwork within a healthcare setting. Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining quality patient care standards.
