Job Summary: ICU RN responsible for providing high-acuity critical care to complex patients, managing ventilators, titratable drips, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct critical care to patients with Heart Failure, Respiratory Failure, Sepsis, GI Bleeds, Strokes, Post-Code, PNA, and other high-acuity conditions.
Manage ventilated patients and operate RT equipment including vents, high-flow oxygen, and BiPAP.
Titrate critical drips including Propofol, Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine, and Diltiazem.
Perform accurate strip reading (Spacelabs monitoring).
Collaborate with Hospitalists (on-site 24/7) and Intensivists (tele-ICU 24/7).
Participate in 1–2 shifts of unit orientation and function independently afterward.
Float to Telemetry (typically 1:3 ratio) or to Meridian/Boise ICU locations as needed.
Work 12-hour shifts (7–7), including weekends/holidays based on unit needs.
Maintain professional scrub attire (any color).
