Job Overview Core Faculty Position in Residency Education at Albany Medical College. The Department of Family & Community Medicine seeks a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join faculty in an academic primary care practice, focusing on resident and medical student education. The candidate will be part of an established community practice based at Albany Family Medicine (Community Care Physicians), offering clinical opportunities with privileges at both academic and community teaching hospitals.
Compensation:
$220,000.00 - $240,000.00 annually
Responsibilities
Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
Engage in curriculum development, clinical instruction, and scholarly activities.
Collaborate with residents, pharmacists, and integrated behavioral health professionals.
Provide care across ambulatory primary care, geriatrics, sports medicine, outpatient procedures, inpatient medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, newborn care, gender‑affirming care, opioid use disorder treatment, women’s health (with or without obstetrics), abortion care, and point‑of‑care ultrasound.
