About the Team Acquisitions, Customer Management & Segments (ACMS) is part of Card Technology, overseeing the platform for acquisitions and customer management systems. We also manage products such as the CreditWise App and the Secured Card product.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Build solid mobile and web platforms that enable intuitive customer experiences across multiple lines of business.
Lead a world‑class team of technical program managers, growing the TPM discipline within the organization.
Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Conduct technology‑focused discussions with senior leadership, guiding technology-based decisions.
Collaborate across product, engineering, design, and data science teams to simplify complex technical challenges.
Maintain a deep focus on execution, follow‑through, accountability, and results.
Cultivate cross‑team collaboration across functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries.
Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and empathy as a leader.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
9+ years of experience designing data‑intensive solutions with distributed computing.
5+ years leading distributed systems and highly available services using cloud (preferably AWS).
5+ years building and leading experienced TPM teams.
5+ years building scalable mobile products and platforms.
5+ years of Agile delivery experience.
5+ years delivering large, complex programs with business or technical vision.
3+ years building systems in highly regulated environments.
Compensation The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location:
Chicago, IL: $240,300 – $274,300
McLean, VA: $264,300 – $301,700
New York, NY: $288,400 – $329,100
Richmond, VA: $240,300 – $274,300
This role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
