What You’ll Do
Provide tax compliance and consulting services for industry‑specific clients, including middle‑market and multinational engagements.
Lead client relationships on day‑to‑day tax matters, and serve as a trusted business advisor.
Consult on technical matters and special projects in corporate and flow‑through taxation, accounting methods, and ASC 740.
Research and resolve tax matters through IRS and other tax authority inquiries, presenting recommendations to clients.
Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complex state and local, high‑net‑worth, international, research and development, and incentive matters.
Manage engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met.
Network and build internal and external relationships to acquire new clients, projects, and revenue.
Invest in professional development through firm‑wide learning programs.
Support the growth of team members by guiding associates toward professional goals.
Participate in social activities and team outings that support work‑life balance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, or a related business field; advanced or master’s degree desirable.
CPA or JD required.
Eight (8)+ years of federal tax compliance and consulting experience in a professional services firm.
Five (5)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service, and adapt to changing strategies while maintaining ethical standards.
Highly developed Microsoft Office and tax software skills.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
