Every day, our Consulting Research Associates live our mission to make health care easier and lives better. As a member of the Actuarial team, we provide consultation on the design, testing, and enhancement of corporate programs. We achieve actionable insights and solutions using analytical and statistical methods, project management, and business knowledge. We research and evaluate programs and outcomes to determine performance against stated objectives and document and communicate recommendations to business partners, creating a person-focused health care experience.

Qualifications

Consulting Research Associate I:

BA/BS in social science, public health, economics, statistics, actuarial science or equivalent,

Consulting Research Associate II:

BA/BS in the same fields and a minimum of 3 years related experience or equivalent combination. Master’s degree preferred.

Skills and Attributes

Perform complex analyses and create visual representations and summary reports.

Apply knowledge of state and federal regulatory policies to program analysis and recommendations.

Extract, sort, cleanse, aggregate, and process data from multiple sources, developing queries and reports.

Work independently and as part of a larger team to identify business challenges and evaluate solutions.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop business cases and understand desired outcomes.

Complete analysis and apply judgment to derive recommendations for complex challenges.

Use data analysis tools to identify root causes.

Prepare and present standard and ad‑hoc analysis to business partners.

Experience with AI tools and technologies is highly desired.

What You Will Do at Cambia

Use analytical and statistical programming tools (Alteryx, SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, etc.) to extract and summarize data and create dashboards.

Pre‑process data: cleansing, aggregating, sorting, and combining multiple data sources.

Apply advanced analytics such as predictive models, forecasting, experimental design, and statistical inference.

Analyze and interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize insights with business questions, literature, judgment, and policy knowledge.

Deliver oral, written, and presentation communication to stakeholders.

Facilitate activities or projects, identify business requirements, resolve issues, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.

Work Environment

Work primarily in corporate and home office settings.

Travel may be required locally or out of state.

May be required to work outside of normal hours.

The expected hiring range for Consulting Research Associate I is $62,100–$82,800, with a 10% bonus target. Full salary range: $57,000–$95,000.

The expected hiring range for Consulting Research Associate II is $75,700–$102,350, with a 10% bonus target. Full salary range: $71,000–$116,000.
