Job Description As an ACT Support Specialist I, you will perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties, including supporting Community Support Workers (CSWs) and coordinating care for clients. This role involves providing therapeutic services, preparing assessments, and ensuring effective communication between clients and the clinical team while complying with MBI Health Services' standards and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

Support Community Support Workers (CSWs).

Assist the clinical team in coordinating care and future healthcare needs.

Provide an effective communication link between the consumer and the clinical team.

Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients’ treatment.

Collect information about clients through interviews, tests, and evaluation of day‑to‑day functioning within work, family, and other routines; identify areas needing continued support, resources, and treatment to assist clients.

Provide therapeutic services to clients through individual, family, and group sessions that are consistent with current research, professional standards, and MBI’s vision and values (minimum of 10 billable therapy hours per week).

Prepare diagnostic and biopsychosocial assessments, clinical notes, referrals, and revise treatment plans for clients as needed.

Provide follow‑up and aftercare planning services as needed.

Provide emergency services during working hours and after‑hours, as assigned.

Attend staff meetings and other activities that ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations.

Perform all duties in compliance with D.C. behavioral health standards, MBI Health Services regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Attend all company‑required trainings.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work or a related behavioral health field.

Training or experience in a health care, human service field, or equivalent experience.

1–2 years in a mental health environment.

Strong organizational skills.

Effective communication and time management skills.

Some experience reviewing and approving clinical notes.
