A global company specializing in engagement solutions for Fortune 500 businesses seeks a Director of Business Development with a stable career history and a blend of strategic and tactical sales skills. Must be available to work from the office at least 3 days per week and reside in the greater Minneapolis area.
Responsibilities
Identify potential accounts and develop an account entry strategy.
Conduct prospecting campaigns and build relationships, understanding customers’ critical business strategies.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create solutions that achieve customer business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
Large volume sales experience ($250,000+ per sale).
Clear history of new business development selling professional services.
Experience with sales cycles ranging from three to twelve months.
Track record of increasing revenue through lead generation.
History of career stability – no more than three jobs in the last ten years.
Compensation derived through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.
Compensation Opportunity Compensation is not capped and is based on performance. Offering a base salary of $140,000 plus commission and a bonus tied to fiscal‑year revenue production and profitability.
