Director of Business Development Location:

Waltham, MA (greater Boston area). Hybrid role; must be in office at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Director is responsible for identifying potential accounts, developing an account entry strategy, conducting prospecting campaigns, building relationships and understanding the customer’s critical business strategies, then working with subject matter experts to create and execute solutions that achieve the customer’s business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 10 years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.

Clear history of new business development selling professional services.

Large volume sales experience ($250k+ per sale).

Experience with broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve months).

History of career stability with no more than three jobs in the last ten years.

Compensation derived through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.

Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.

Compensation Compensation is not capped and is based on performance. Offering a base salary of $140,000 plus commission and a bonus tied to fiscal year revenue production and profitability.
