Summary The Field HEOR team is part of the US Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) organization. The Field HEOR Scientist engages Access organizations and decision‑makers within the Great Lakes and Midwest regions (MN, WI, MI, IN, IL, MO, IA). Combining technical HEOR knowledge with U.S. healthcare system business acumen, the scientist delivers impactful data that supports medication access decision‑making in a field‑based, customer‑centric role.

Responsibilities

Conduct health economics and outcomes research as part of a cross‑functional matrix team.

Lead the medical interface with key access customers in a field‑facing role.

Collaborate on the development and implementation of the U.S. HEOR strategy, plans, and research.

Partner with home‑office medical teams to develop, interpret, and disseminate data assessing the medical value of BMS assets.

Direct research strategy to answer key questions in the health care marketplace, driven by payer insights and in collaboration with the home‑office medical matrix team.

Lead Health Economics and Outcomes Research for a given therapeutic area.

Focus field‑facing activities on regional managed‑care accounts and key integrated delivery networks to facilitate patient access, medical policy, coverage, and reimbursement for all BMS portfolio assets.

Develop sustainable customer relationships and discuss comprehensive scientific, health economic, epidemiology, and quality‑of‑life information.

Work closely with commercial Account Executives, MSLs, and home‑office medical teams.

Collaborate on projects and initiatives that impact the broader field HEOR team, the Home Office HEOR team, or cross‑functional matrix teams.

Qualifications

Doctoral trained professional (PhD, PharmD, MD) with an emphasis in health services research, health economics research, public health, or a related field.

A Master’s degree may be considered if specific to health economics or outcomes research, with appropriate clinical background and years of experience.

Minimum five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, managed care, or consulting industries, focused on Market Access with experience conducting health economics and outcomes research through all research phases.

Demonstrated expertise in health economics and outcomes research, including a publication list.

Ability to understand, interpret, and recommend regarding the evolving U.S. healthcare marketplace and comparative effectiveness research.

Proven ability to build customer relationships.

Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Flexibility to travel frequently.

Must possess a company‑provided vehicle and a qualified driver record.

Compensation Overview Field – United States – $211,880 – $256,748 per year (full‑time basis). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available.
