Role Description
Our fast-growing company is looking for a talented Solutions Architect to join our Implementation team. This dynamic and versatile role blends technical expertise with strategic customer engagement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating customer requirements, then designing and presenting both software and hardware solutions to clients, ensuring alignment with their business needs. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with both customer-facing and internal teams to drive successful customer engagements.
Pre-Sales & Implementation
Act as a technical advisor to sales teams, assisting in pre-sales activities and customer presentations
Conduct product demos, proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, and technical workshops
Collaborate with customers to understand their challenges and translate them into tailored solutions based on our product portfolio
Evaluate existing tools and platforms and recommend solutions and any relevant integrations to meet business objectives
Prepare proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation that articulate solution benefits
Create detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and integration plans
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance
Serve as a technical stakeholder throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation
Support post-sales teams in solution deployment and troubleshooting when necessary
Collaboration & Innovation
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer and internal stakeholders
Work closely with product management, engineering, customer success and sales teams to refine solution offerings
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions
Provide feedback to internal teams on customer requirements and market demands
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, related Engineering (Computer, Systems, Industrial, etc...), or a related field
5+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect or Pre-sales Engineering role
Strong understanding of how to functionally decompose a customer’s process flow into an understandable process diagram and fitting our solution offerings into that flow
Strong knowledge of both software (applications, cloud solutions, databases) and hardware (RFID encoding & reading, optical scanning, networking, servers, storage, IoT) technologies
Experience designing and troubleshooting networks to ensure complex network architectures are stable and working as required
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly solutions
Hands-on experience with system integration, API development, and security best practices
Hands-on experience with physical and software tools used in installations
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
