Infrastructure Engineer
Optomi is partnering with a well-established technology services organization to hire an Infrastructure Engineer to support and deliver complex IT infrastructure, cloud, and security projects. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with the opportunity to work alongside a highly tenured, collaborative team.

Requirements and Skills of the right candidate: Senior-level experience in infrastructure or project-based IT roles Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Hands-on experience with firewall, VLAN, and VPN configurations Virtualization experience (VMware and/or Hyper-V) Email migration and message tracing experience Strong client-facing communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver end-to-end IT infrastructure projects Lead Microsoft 365 & Azure migrations (including tenant-to-tenant email migrations) Implement SharePoint setups, server & network deployments Configure firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and security solutions Roll out backup and disaster recovery solutions Serve as the technical lead in client kickoff and status meetings Ensure smooth handoff to service desk teams post-implementation Maintain detailed documentation in IT Glue and ConnectWise
