Your Role as Senior Tax Manager
As a Senior Tax Manager , you will be a core member of our management team, specializing in sophisticated tax compliance and planning for our high net worth clientele and their related entities. You will own client relationships and lead engagement execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Planning & Strategy: Lead the analysis of complex tax issues, proactively identifying and developing tax planning opportunities for clients and their trusts/estates.
- Compliance Oversight: Oversee and meticulously review complex federal and state income tax returns, with a focus on high net worth individuals (Form 1040), private trusts (Form 1041), and complex estate issues. This includes review of specialized investment returns (e.g., hedge fund, VC, PE K-1s) and related international reporting.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary client contact , ensuring a standard of excellence in communication, responsiveness, and service delivery for your dedicated client portfolio.
- Leadership & Development: Actively mentor and develop staff and associates within the tax department, contributing to their technical growth and participating in firm-wide management initiatives.

Qualifications
- CPA or EA designation is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience specializing in high net worth individual taxation, trust and estate income tax compliance, and planning.
- Exceptional client service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach and comfort working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment.
