Automation Chemistry & Immunoassay Sales Executive (ACISE)

Location: San Diego, Flagstaff, Phoenix – Field Based (regional travel)

Position Summary

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the Automation Chemistry & Immunoassay Sales Executive is a field‑based commercial leader responsible for driving new business growth and expanding Siemens Healthineers’ footprint in laboratory diagnostics. The role prioritizes identifying, developing, and converting new customer opportunities across a defined geographic territory and partners cross‑functionally with Account Managers, Sales Specialists, and Healthcare System Executives to deliver tailored solutions that address clinical and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new customer opportunities in Chemistry, Immunoassay, and Automation portfolio.
  • Lead strategic sales campaigns, leveraging internal resources and cross‑functional teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Conduct workflow analyses and “day in the lab” assessments to uncover operational inefficiencies and present tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, influencers, and stakeholders across healthcare systems, laboratories, and integrated delivery networks.
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer feedback to inform account strategies.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records, pipeline development, and forecasting through CRM tools; participate in quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Sales Specialists, and Healthcare System Executives to ensure alignment of messaging, strategy, and execution.
  • Uphold Siemens Healthineers’ standards for ethical sales practices, regulatory compliance, and customer transparency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related discipline; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in complex sales environments (capital equipment, medical devices, diagnostics).
  • Proven success in new business acquisition and solution selling.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory diagnostics, including Chemistry and Immunoassay workflows.
  • Experience with strategic sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a field‑based role with regional travel.

Base Pay Range

Min $107,200 – Max $160,800 (geographic adjusted).
