Senior Program Manager The
Senior Program Manager
leads a small, cross-functional Core Team to deliver product development projects across the full lifecycle—from concept and design through development, high-volume manufacturing, launch, and commercialization. This role ensures projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements while maintaining strict compliance with
design control standards
and regulatory requirements. Success is measured by the quality of deliverables, adherence to design control processes, and the timely release of customized products or platform enhancements.
Job Responsibilities
Applies extensive technical expertise & has full knowledge of related disciplines. Develops technical and business process solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. In partnership with the platform and core team member, leads the development and commercialization, go to market and launch strategy for the project(s).
Responsible for the creation of the project work breakdown structures, integrated business plans and product requirements. Leads the cross functional development of the product architecture for each functional area, synthesizes functional plans and identifies critical interdependencies to drive successful execution of the project.
Designs and performs development of a complex nature, working with functional and multifunctional teams within defined parameters. Modifies methodologies and procedures as applicable to the project for quicker, valid results.
Ensures quality conduct of projects, including design, data summary and interpretation, report and manuscript preparation and review adherence to applicable regulations.
Represents the organization as the prime contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
Guides the successful completion of projects by effectively organizing, coaching and motivating a highly skilled cross functional team.
May perform other duties as required
Education and Experience required
Bachelor’s degree in sciences or business.
10+ years progressive experience as a program manager within MedTech and/or Pharma industry, with experience and knowledge of product development and ability to lead product development initiatives.
Experience with product development design control methodologies.

Ability to travel approximately 15%
Preferred qualifications
Engineering degree an asset. MBA, PMP preferred.
Systems engineering experience for medical devices and connected device communication protocols.
