Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Test Engineer who will be responsible for developing new test methods aimed at enhancing the efficiency of validating both New Product Introductions (NPI) and existing medical device products. The engineer will focus on improving automation within the process, building test tools and test fixtures, and updating documentation.
Responsibilities
Develop new test methods for catheters, guide wires, and implants.
Enhance automation efficiency in product validation processes.
Design test fixtures and tools to support testing activities.
Focus on mechanical aspects of testing procedures.
Update and maintain testing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in test development and fixture design.
Strong skills in validation and automation.
Knowledge of mechanical testing methods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with medical device products such as catheters, guide wires, and implants.
Ability to innovate and improve existing testing procedures.
Work Environment The Mechanical Test Engineer will work in a dynamic environment focused on innovation and efficiency. The role involves interaction with cutting‑edge technologies and tools, with an emphasis on automation and mechanical testing. The work hours are flexible, accommodating a balanced work‑life integration, and the dress code is business casual.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $76.00/hr.
