Job Description:

• The ENTRY PSR I represents the face of the company to patients who come in for routine health care or important health decisions.
• This role helps with patient care by greeting patients upon arrival, answering questions with care and compassion, maintaining the integrity of the waiting area, and assisting with breaks when other phlebotomists are unavailable.
• The ENTRY PSR I will also be trained in phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.
• The ENTRY PSR I has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining scheduled procedures safely and accurately.
• The role demonstrates excellence in customer care, focuses on process skills, and maintains confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the lobby and ensuring all patients receive the expected level of service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills, including phlebotomy.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check-ins via self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
• Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills during downtime or when covering breaks.
• Once trained, perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing confidently following established procedures.
• High-level customer service skills required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 2 years of client-facing customer service experience (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc.) required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Prior phlebotomy experience is not required.

Qualification And Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
