Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing with confidence.
• Verify patient demographics and obtain patient acknowledgment to confirm proper specimen labeling.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Maintain required records and documentation accurately.
• Promote a positive and professional image to patients, clients, staff, and the public.

Requirement/Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong decision-making skills and sound judgment.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to travel between multiple locations and work flexible hours.

Experience:

• Phlebotomy experience in a clinical or patient service environment.
• Keyboarding and data entry experience.

Should Have:

• Medical assistant or paramedic training.
• Experience working in a patient service center.
• Strong customer service background.

Skills:

• Superior phlebotomy techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing business needs.

Qualification and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
