Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
• Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing confidently.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirement/Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to provide accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality.

Experience:

• Phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboarding and data entry experience.

Should Have:

• Medical assistant or paramedic training.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.

Skills:

• Excellent phlebotomy techniques.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational and documentation skills.

Qualification and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
