Job Summary
Position: Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem) at UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (Mission Bay, SF). Salary range: $128.67 hourly. Placement within range is based on experience, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreement for union positions. Additional approvals are required per UC policy.
Department Description The UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center is an accredited National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center, renowned for research and clinical services across adult and pediatric tumors across multiple campuses. It is a top 10 program as rated by U.S. News & World Report.
Required Qualifications
Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved or verified school of nursing with a master’s degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Two (2) years of experience in Oncology as a Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of experience in adult critical care medicine as a Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
Specialty Certifications: OCN or AOCNP.
Experience with ECG and imaging interpretation (X-ray, CT, MRI).
License/Certification UCSF Medical Center requires credentialing through the Office of Medical Affairs & Governance (OMAG) within 60‑90 days of first working day. Credentialing and procedure approval requires 60‑90 days but may vary.
