Nurse Practitioner Infusion Center MB Weill – UCSF Health
Job Summary: Interested in a dynamic, autonomous practice setting, working with a highly skilled and collaborative APP team? Consider joining our ambulatory care Cancer Center Infusion APP team. The Cancer Center Infusion APP team is responsible for overseeing the care of 50-75 patients per day (depending on the size of unit). We cover five Infusion centers providing treatment for Oncology and non‑Oncology patients. The Infusion APPs triage multiple issues in real time and ensure continuity of care through collaboration and communication with physicians, surgeons, APP colleagues, and other clinical and administrative staff. Ultimately, we ensure timely patient care and treatment to meet goals of care, optimize the patient experience, and ensure good patient outcomes. In addition to our infusion areas, we cover our three‑bed Cancer Center Acute Care (CACC) where we manage higher‑acuity Oncology patients to avoid unnecessary emergency‑room visits, hospital admissions, and facilitate emergency services and admission when necessary.
