Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant – $50/hr Local | $2,200/week Travel – Palo Alto, CA – Full-Time
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. Responsibilities include clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP and/or physician.
Assignment Details
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Start Date: January 5, 2026
End Date: Remainder of the school year (6 months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week
Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: $50/hr local or $2,200/week travel | W2 position
Openings: 1
Responsibilities
Assist in providing speech and language therapy services
Support documentation and treatment activities
Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Comply with all state and district regulations
Requirements
Graduate of an SLPA program with associate’s degree OR bachelor’s in speech-language pathology or communication disorders
Minimum 100 hours of supervised field work experience
Current SLPA certification/licensure in California
One year of prior SLPA experience preferred
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
