Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a
Back‑End Oriented Software Engineer
to design and maintain the systems powering our platform — including real‑time communication, telephony, and task routing with
Twilio . You’ll work with
Python, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, REST APIs, and Socket.io , and collaborate closely with front‑end engineers using
Next.js
and
NestJS
to deliver seamless user experiences. This is a hands‑on, on‑site role where you’ll contribute directly to building scalable systems and improving performance for a fast‑growing AI platform.
Design, build, and optimize
scalable backend services
Develop and maintain
GraphQL and REST APIs
Implement
real‑time features
using Socket.io and Twilio
Integrate
Twilio Sync, TaskRouter, and Telephony
Collaborate with front‑end engineers and product teams
Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the stack
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code
3+ years of experience building
backend systems
Strong in
Python
(FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Proficient with
GraphQL, Typescript, and REST APIs
Solid understanding of
PostgreSQL
and database design
Experience with
real‑time systems
(Socket.io or WebSockets)
Hands‑on experience with
Twilio
(Sync, TaskRouter, or Telephony)
