This position is eligible for up to $4k in New Hire Retention Incentives and relocation up to $3k if moving from 100+ miles away.

This is a full time, benefited position working 12‑hr day shifts generally from 8am-8:30pm on varied days (open 7 days per week). Weekends and holidays required on rotating basis. Located at Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo.

What you’ll do:

Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration.

Educate patients and document patient interactions.

Practice infection control and contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your scope of practice.

Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.

Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.

Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.

Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.

Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Candidates with less than 1 year of experience as an RN

Retention incentive eligibility criteria

Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offerletter)

Must remain in original department/specialty

Must remain in original Job Title

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
