We’re
eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K
and this is a benefited, full‑time position working a 12‑hour night shift generally 7 pm‑7:30 am. Weekends are required on a rotating basis, generally 1‑2 weekends/month. Located in La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Clinic.

What You'll Do
Hands‑on experience with a wide variety of emergency patients.
An array of education opportunities and are actively involved in process improvements.
Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
Educate patients and document patient interactions.
Practice infection control.
Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your own scope of practice.
Required Qualifications
Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
Active California RN license
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications
1 year of recent adult emergency services experience
Be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
CEN – Certified Emergency Nursing
Recent and/or extensive ED experience as an RN
Charge RN experience
Incentive & Retention Details New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K are available to eligible candidates. The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:
Internal candidates
Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
Hires with less than one year RN working experience
To remain eligible for your retention incentive, the following criteria must be met:
Must remain in original hired FTE status and shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty
Must remain in original job title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Position Pay Range: $59.16–$85.68/hour
