Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join a leading manufacturing company in Austin, Texas. In this contract position, you will play a crucial role in managing vendor relations, processing payments, and ensuring seamless financial operations. Collaborate with the Accounts Payable Manager to complete month-end and closing tasks efficiently.
- Process weekly check runs, installer payments, and online transactions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in account set-up for vendors.
- Build and nurture strong vendor relationships to support business operations.
- Conduct end-of-month audits of profit and loss reports and other assigned tasks.
- Process employee reimbursements and manage weekly per diems for new hires.
- Review and audit financial transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy. Requirements - Proven experience in Accounts Payable operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of account coding and invoice processing.
- Proficiency in Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial processing.
- Excellent analytical skills for reconciling vendor statements and auditing transactions.
